Testing and Proctoring (back to top)
Most of the testing in SFA Online courses takes place online. Some courses may require you to come to a predetermined location or make arrangements for an exam to be proctored.
SFA is a participating institution in the Texas Computer-based Testing Collaborative. This statewide network of 24 institutions of higher education and four public libraries allows distance education students to take proctored exams at testing sites across the state. The participating institutions have received computers and scheduling software that enable students to register online at http://www.tcbtc.org/ to take a proctored test at any of these testing sites. The TCBTC contact person in SFA's office of Counseling and Career Services is Cathy Simkunas, 936-468-2401.
